Pioneer's Speaker Base Optimized to Improve the Movie and Music Experience

Andrew Jones Designed Speaker Base Built for Those Who Care About Sound

Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. today introduced the SP-SB03 Speaker Base TV Audio System, designed by legendary speaker engineer Andrew Jones to deliver excellent full-range sound performance and replace the audio that comes from the small low-powered speakers built into today’s flat panel televisions. Built for the majority of consumers who keep their flat panel TVs/monitors on a stand rather than hung using a wall mount, the Speaker Base is made to provide an enhanced home audio experience through a single point audio source by simply placing the television on top and using a one-cable connection.

“Consumers deserve to have the best entertainment experience at home, but unfortunately sound produced by today’s TVs just doesn’t cut it, which is why the Speaker Base was created,” said Chris Walker, director of AV marketing and product planning for the Home Electronics Division of Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. “Andrew’s design delivers an audio experience that rivals if not exceeds traditional speaker bars without the need for a dedicated subwoofer.”

Designed for Sound

Pioneer’s Speaker Base will be available in October with a suggested retail price of $349.99.
